Siberian husky achieving her first activity goal

A new milestone!

All it took was a trip to the beach! It’s like being rewarded for a reward!

Star’s daily activity goal is 110 minutes. It’s on the lower end for a husky but is more achievable for one her age. On a typical day, Star clocks in around 75 minutes, which is just short of the 80 minutes PitPat recommend. That would be too easy to achieve most days, so a goal of 110 minutes encourages more (short) adventures!

To the beach!

The squiggly bit at the bottom is Star having fun on the beach.

Fitness is so important, especially for an older dog like Star. It helps keep her joints and muscles strong so she can continue to lead a healthy and active life of joy.

Star does pretty well for an 11-year-old! And she’ll keep striving to achieve her fitness goals.

After all, the beach views are totally worth it.

One more thing!

Fitness was not the only reason for visiting the beach! It was quite a fun day, but more on that another time! 😁
