Mystic Astra Phoenix

An ice cream atop a sundial.

Star, where are you!?

Wait. Is that an ice cream atop the sundial?

Mystic Astra Phoenix? A journal entry with a title longer than one word? That means it’s an extra special one. It is Halloween, after all. Well, tomorrow. And Star has gone all out.

The Path of The Curse launched as the clocks rewound at the witching hour of Sunday morning. If you live in Stornoway, there’s no better time to play it than on Halloween. Star hopes you enjoy it.

Now, has anyone seen Star?

Boo!

Did she scare you?

Hi Star! So what kind of ice cream is that? And what’s a Mystic Astra Phoenix?

It’s a Mystic Astra Phoenix ice cream, of course! And Mystic Astra Phoenix is also Star’s name. Her Kennel Club registered name, to be precise. Mystic came from her mom’s Kennel Club registered name. Astra is Star in Latin. And Phoenix is just because phoenixes are cool.

Star’s ice cream shares her namesake because of its key ingredients:

Infused with

Mystic

Hebridean Seaweed

Topped with

Astra

Cinnamon Dust

Made with

Phoenix

Orange Pumpkin

And sweetened with Star’s favourite fruit: Apples!

And this is how to make it:

Star’s Mystic Astra Phoenix ice cream ingredients:

First, add the pumpkin powder to the water and stir it thoroughly, or blend it in a high-powered blender. Experiment with the ratio of water to pumpkin powder until you find your desired consistency. An ever-so-slightly watered-down purée consistency works best.

Once you’ve perfected your consistency, add the apple purée, coconut oil, seaweed powder (it doesn’t have to be Hebridean), vanilla powder, and xanthan gum to your pumpkin purée. Mix it thoroughly or blend it in a high-powered blender.

Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker or a freezer-safe container. Once the mixture has started to freeze and become slushy, sprinkle the cinnamon powder on top of the ice cream. If you’re using an ice cream maker, transfer your ice cream to a freezer-safe container before sprinkling the cinnamon powder on top. Then, store the ice cream in the freezer overnight.

And now it’s time to enjoy a well-deserved Mystic Astra Phoenix i–

Moltres!

Did it rise from the ice cream?

Wow! A Moltres!

Star always knew the sundial was the key to finding a phoenix on her treasure trail. And all she needed was a Mystic Astra Phoenix ice cream! But was it the ice cream or the name?

Another content update to Star’s Treasure Trail is imminent, and it unlocks a fourth secret path with new riddles and puzzles towards a new secret spot! The Path of the Curse hides the clue to discovering it, but it will be discoverable for all adventurers.

The Path of the Phoenix launches next week! To find it, you’ll need to find the sundial along the Path of the Castle, complete its trial and discover its true hidden secret.

Can Star enjoy her Halloween-themed ice cream now?

Star’s been watching The Enfield Poltergeist on Apple TV+, finally playing the Teal Mask expansion on Pokémon Scarlet, carving pumpkins, and enjoying her trick-or-treat cones from Hungry Hounds Hebrides!

Pumpkins, you say?
