Head up the stairs behind the cannon (or take the slope to the right of the stairs).

Follow the path around to the left and continue along it. Take the first branch you come to on your left. 

Follow it and keep to the right along the path at any branches and forks. 

At its end, take the short path to the west. 

Then turn left and go south briefly until you arrive at some stairs with a branched path to your right.
