Star’s been saving her original portrait to use for a special occasion. That occasion is today.

It was Star’s first portrait photograph to demonstrate just how incredible a tool an iPhone is for capturing moments and memories that last forever.

It was such a profound moment that it was emailed to Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook. And he replied. 

Star’s Snaps is the latest in a series of projects designed to record her memories, this time through photography (and occasionally art). It’s a curated gallery featuring Star, her friends like Chocolate Fur and Poo Paw, her favourite places like Garry Beach, and other things like this dragon-shaped aurora watching over her in the garden at the weekend. But mostly Star.

There’s already a small collection of photos in the Star’s Snaps gallery, and new ones will be added frequently. Star’s Snaps is also an opportunity to share memories which predate Star’s website.

The new Star’s Snaps section of the home page sits just below the latest journal entry. This will be updated to showcase the latest snap each time a new one is added.
