A giant mysterious stone!
It’s one of the Calanais Standing Stones. This one is Star’s favourite stone.
Star has lived near the Calanais Stones for the last few years but has never seen them. As Halloween drew closer, now felt like the perfect opportunity for a journey to explore the ancient stones and experience the mystery which shrouds them. So that’s what she did.

Perhaps the peculiar path Star weaved through the stone circle resembles a sigil of some kind? Hopefully, it’s not a curse!
The Calanais Standing Stones are quite a marvel to behold. It’s a beautiful monument steeped with mystery, myth, and magic. For starters, they predate Stonehenge. They’re also the inspiration for the Ring of Stones in Pixar’s Brave, which is home to the Will O’ the Wisps.
So Star did what any Husky would do in this circumstance. She embarked upon a spiritual journey and performed a ritual by sniffing each of the Standing Stones. She had a wonderful time meeting the stone giants!

Delicious Halloween-themed sweets, a spooky pumpkin lollypop, and a pumpkin cupcake from Bonbon Pooch! And a pumpkin spice latte from Hungry Hounds Hebrides (But don’t tell Star that it’s not really coffee)!
Pumpkin is one of the best things about Halloween for Star. Not only is it super tasty, but it’s a very healthy treat too.
